Chen Changzhu graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute with the major of printmaking in 1982 and then worked as a teacher in the university. In 2002， he was transferred to Sichaun Conservatory of Music， serving as the director of the Animation Department. Now he is a professor and supervisor for postgraduates， member of China Artists Association， and committee member of China Society of Images and Graphics etc. He has participated in various exhibitions and won grand prizes.
陈昌柱，教授、硕士生导师，中国美术家协会会员，中国图形图像学会专业委员会委员，四川文化创意专家委员会委员。
1982年毕业于四川美术学院绘画系版画专业，后留校任教，曾任装饰艺术教研室主任、动画教研室主任及院学术委员会委员。2002年调四川音乐学院美术学院工作，任美术学院动画系主任。
作品入选全国第八届版画展；参加笫七、八、九届全国美展；多次获四川省优秀美术作品奖、重庆市优秀美术作品奖。
1993年获《中国连环画》十佳优秀绘画奖。
1997年9月获四川省人民政府颁发的“四川省教学成果二等奖”。
1999年获重庆市人民政府颁发的“重庆市教学成果二等奖”。
2010年6月主持讲授的“数字插图创作”课程被确定为四川省级精品课程。
2012年8月参加由中华人民共和国文化部、解决军总政治部、中国美术家协会举办的“中国人民解放军建军85周年全国美术作品暨第12届全军美展”。
2012年获“艺术成都喜迎党的十八大美术展览”金奖。
2013年获四川省政府奖“四川省首届文华美术奖二等奖”。
